During a concert by Miguel Bosé at the National Auditorium of Mexico City, the singer and his followers were forced to evacuate the venue due to a 5.5 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale that shook southern Mexico. Images of the incident showed people leaving the place calmly, although anxious from the sound of the seismic alert.
"The fright took hold of the inhabitants of Mexico City when the seismic alert activated its characteristic sound," Bosé highlighted in a video that went viral on social media. In light of the emergency, attendees, regardless of the singer's presence on stage, evacuated the National Auditorium. As soon as the situation allowed, Bosé's show continued.
Minutes after the earthquake, the audience returned to the auditorium to continue enjoying the show. In another video, Miguel Bosé is seen calmly resuming the concert, showing no signs of fear. Despite the scare, no material damage was reported as a result of the earthquake, which had its epicenter near Tlaxiaco, in the state of Oaxaca.
The mayor of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, reported that the earthquake did not cause serious material damage but had a strong impact on large-scale events such as Miguel Bosé's concert.
